- • This Security Analyst Intern role supports Cambium Learning Group’s mission to protect people, data, and trust by contributing to critical cybersecurity and risk programs, including third-party risk management and security awareness initiatives.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with vendor risk assessments by collecting and tracking due diligence artifacts, reviewing questionnaire responses, documenting risks and remediation items in the TPRM system, supporting security awareness training planning and rollout, tracking participation and simulation results, and drafting program documentation and internal wiki content.
- • The role is part of a remote-first cybersecurity team focused on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), working collaboratively to strengthen organizational resilience through structured processes and awareness campaigns.
- • The intern will gain hands-on experience in vendor risk management, security awareness program execution, GRC support, and documentation practices, while developing professional communication, organizational, and remote collaboration skills in a real-world enterprise environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related field
- • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks and follow documented processes
- • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating with internal teams and following up with vendors professionally
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) or Google Workspace; able to learn new tools quickly
- • Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment, including participating in virtual meetings and communicating status clearly
- • Must have reliable home office internet access
