📋 Description

• The Security Architect will advise technology teams on Lyric’s security strategy and implementation, focusing on cloud security in Azure and AWS, network defenses, identity management, data protection, and zero trust frameworks to safeguard intellectual property and customer data.
• Day to day, the role involves participating in enterprise architecture forums, creating and maintaining security roadmaps with measurable benchmarks, developing security architecture processes, serving as a cloud security subject matter expert, establishing design principles for secure and scalable solutions, assessing cloud security risks with cross-functional teams, and designing cloud-native architectures aligned with security frameworks and business needs.

• In this role, the person can deepen expertise in cloud security architectures, influence enterprise-wide security strategy, gain hands-on experience with AWS and Azure security services, and contribute to protecting sensitive healthcare data while advancing skills in frameworks like NIST, HITRUST, MITRE ATT&CK, and Zero Trust models.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with hands-on security architecture and/or engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft (MS) Azure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
• CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, or other relevant security-related designation(s)
• Experience with SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS architectural solutions within AWS, Azure, and other cloud providers
• Experience in Cloud, DevSecOps, Container Security, IAM patterns, WAF/CDN/DDoS services, and cloud access security brokers (CASBs)
