📋 Description

• This freelance Security Architect - AI Trainer role is critical for bridging deep security architecture expertise with cutting-edge AI development, ensuring that advanced AI systems learn to reason about security with real-world accuracy and practical relevance.
• The role enables experienced professionals to contribute to the evolution of AI security capabilities without leaving their current commitments, applying their judgment to refine how machines understand complex security concepts.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and refining AI-generated outputs related to security architecture, cyber risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and practical aspects of security design for technical correctness and real-world applicability.
• You will evaluate AI responses for accuracy, practicality, and compliance with established security frameworks, identifying where AI-generated content lacks depth, misrepresents risk, or overlooks key architectural considerations.
• A core task involves drafting realistic security architecture scenarios based on your direct professional experience, creating variations that reflect different stakeholder perspectives such as security architect, client, IT leader, or regulator to improve AI’s contextual understanding.
• You will actively identify gaps, oversights, or weak reasoning in AI-generated security content, providing structured, critical feedback that helps train models to avoid dangerous oversimplifications or theoretical inaccuracies.
• The role requires comfort working independently while delivering timely, high-quality feedback within a flexible 8–20 hour weekly commitment, supporting ongoing AI training initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• Senior-level security architect with significant professional experience within the EU or UK, preferably with a background in enterprise security, cyber risk, or critical infrastructure.
• Proven experience in advising on, preparing, and executing security architectures and cybersecurity solutions, including familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SABSA, or TOGAF.
• Strong ability to evaluate architectural solutions, security documentation, and compliance requirements, with a keen eye for practicality and real-world feasibility over theoretical correctness.
• Comfortable working independently and providing structured, critical feedback in written form, with clear communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Availability for 8–20 hours per week with reliable, prompt responsiveness to tasks and feedback cycles.
• Familiarity with AI concepts or prior experience in training, prompting, or evaluating language models is a nice-to-have but not required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
