📋 Description

• Serve as the technical SME for Genesys Cloud customer audits, supporting global security and compliance engagements within the COE SPC team.
• Lead advanced technical discussions with customers, prospects, partners, and auditors to defend Genesys Cloud’s security, privacy, and compliance posture using technical evidence.
• Act as the internal escalation point for penetration testing–related discussions, providing expert analysis and remediation guidance.
• Demonstrate deep, control-level understanding of security frameworks including SOC 2, PCI DSS, and other industry standards.
• Interpret and present technical evidence such as system logs, configuration files, architecture diagrams, policies, and automation artifacts to satisfy audit requirements.
• Explain implementation details of Genesys Cloud security controls including IAM, encryption, key management, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, detection and response, incident management, web security, and AI security.
• Apply knowledge of AWS cloud security and the SaaS shared responsibility model to validate and articulate control effectiveness in cloud-native environments.
• Translate complex technical security concepts into clear, defensible narratives for both technical and business stakeholders during audits and assessments.
• Support security reviews and engage in technical deep dives on DevSecOps practices, infrastructure as code, and security automation.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of AI security trends, emerging cloud threats, and AI governance considerations as they relate to enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, and Architecture teams to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement of security controls.
• Operate in a high-pressure, customer-facing environment while managing competing priorities with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Work in a fully remote or office-based capacity, with flexibility to support global time zones and customer engagements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of related experience within audit operations delivering evidence for a cloud solution
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security, encryption, key management, logging, auditing, and monitoring in cloud environments
• Experience discussing penetration testing findings and remediation approaches
• Ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and business audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
