Security Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Security Engineer at HighLevel Inc., you will play a critical role in protecting the company’s AI-powered, all-in-one white-label sales & marketing platform that serves over 1 million businesses globally. Your work will directly safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of systems processing over 4 billion API hits and 2.5 billion message events daily, ensuring trust and reliability for users across 15+ countries.
• • Day to day, you will design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud infrastructure and microservices, conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, monitor for threats using SIEM and EDR tools, respond to security incidents, and collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will also help maintain compliance with industry standards and contribute to security awareness initiatives.
• • HighLevel operates as a global, remote-first company with over 1,500 team members across 15+ countries, fostering a culture where innovation, collaboration, and people come first. The engineering team manages a complex distributed system of over 250 microservices and 470 terabytes of data across five databases, supporting over 1 million hostnames and enabling massive-scale digital growth for clients.
