đź“‹ Description
- • As a Security Engineer at Lambda, you will protect critical AI infrastructure including training data, model weights, and sensitive inputs that power breakthrough artificial intelligence, directly enabling customer trust and enterprise revenue.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include building and tuning detections in SIEM and EDR systems, responding to security incidents, hardening production systems, reviewing architectures and code, developing security tooling in Python or Go, partnering across engineering teams, and balancing strategic and tactical security initiatives.
- • You will join Lambda’s Security team, reporting to the Head of Security, and collaborate closely with Product Engineering, Data Center Operations and Engineering, IT, and Technical Program Managers to strengthen the security posture that customers rely on.
- • Over the next 12-18 months, you will help deliver Lambda’s 2026 security roadmap, expand detection coverage for AI-specific threats, mature the incident response program, ship widely adopted security automation, and gain direct access to LLMs hosted on Lambda’s infrastructure to innovate security operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of demonstrated security engineering experience, either directly as a security engineer or as an engineer driving security outcomes, with equivalent backgrounds such as formal security training combined with strong engineering experience considered.
- • A track record of working across multiple security domains—for example, detection engineering in one role and architecture, platform, or vulnerability management in another—demonstrating breadth and eagerness to learn.
- • Strong hands-on Linux experience showcasing the ability to protect both applications and the underlying cloud infrastructure.
- • Comfort solving problems in Python, Go, or a similar language, with the discipline to ship production-grade tooling rather than only one-off scripts.
