Security Engineer AI

📋 Description

• • The Security Engineer AI role at Best Friends Animal Society is responsible for implementing and operating security controls across enterprise cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and AI-enabled tools, with a focus on securing Microsoft Copilot, Office 365, and custom AI integrations. This role ensures AI and cloud technologies are used securely and in accordance with enterprise security standards.
• • Day to day, the engineer will implement and maintain security controls for AI tools, support secure onboarding and configuration of AI features, enforce data access boundaries, review custom AI use cases for security risks, design security controls for AI platforms, partner with cloud and security teams on architecture reviews, implement monitoring and audit logging for AI interactions, secure AI data flows like RAG pipelines, participate in incident response for cloud/SaaS/AI incidents, and assist in developing runbooks for platform-related incidents.
• • The role is part of the core security engineering team at Best Friends Animal Society, a mission-driven organization dedicated to animal welfare.
