• • The Security Engineering Intern role supports the Product Engineering team in building and maintaining cybersecurity tools for CIS Managed Service offerings, contributing directly to the mission of making the connected world a safer place.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting the SIEM/SOAR development team with backlog management, testing activities, defining detection use cases, building internal and customer-facing dashboards, improving documentation, creating customer onboarding materials, exploring AI-assisted workflows, communicating with stakeholders, and participating in agile ceremonies.
• • The role is part of the Engineering department within the Product Engineering team, reporting to the Director of Product Engineering, and operates in a remote, collaborative environment focused on cybersecurity innovation.
• • The intern will gain hands-on experience in security engineering, develop technical and communication skills, learn agile methodologies, and contribute to real-world cybersecurity products while building professional growth in a mission-driven organization.
