Security Manager

📋 Description

• • The Security Manager is the tactical owner of day-to-day security operations at XTIUM, responsible for coordinating internal teams and external partners to manage alerts, incidents, vulnerability remediation, testing follow-up, and control execution.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing security operations workflows across ESD, Ascent, and internal stakeholders; coordinating incident response activities and maintaining playbooks; tracking vulnerability findings and penetration test results through remediation and retesting; monitoring security metrics and preparing recurring reports; driving operational handoffs between Tier 1 intake, SOC escalation, engineering remediation, and business owners; supporting audits and customer assurance requests by collecting evidence and validating control execution; and identifying process gaps to improve security operations and response readiness.
