- • Provides operational support to ensure timely and accurate booking of securities and trade transactions in systems for clean downstream settlement.
- • Delivers guidance and execution in support of new trading strategies and daily capture of transactional data to enable downstream analytics and financial accounting.
- • Maintains governance and controls over the trade capture process to ensure operational integrity and compliance.
- • Monitors and tracks performance metrics, identifies issues, and implements corrective actions to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- • Breaks down complex operational problems, analyzes data, and provides actionable insights and recommendations to improve processes.
- • Gathers, formats, and prepares regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- • Resolves standard and routine operational issues independently; escalates non-routine or complex issues to senior team members or managers.
- • Functions as a problem-solving resource for junior staff, offering guidance on operational procedures and best practices.
- • Participates in the planning, testing, and implementation of new or revised products, services, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- • Follows documented policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to execute daily transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and risk frameworks.
- • Reconciles transactional information and documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal controls.
- • Communicates directly with internal business partners and external stakeholders to resolve trade discrepancies and address inquiries.
- • Collaborates with internal and external teams to deliver on business objectives and fulfill service delivery expectations.
- • Contributes to the development and implementation of new systems, tools, and process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- • Applies the bank’s Risk Management Framework and Risk Culture to make sound, risk-informed decisions that protect assets and align with business strategy.
- • Supports the development of training materials and tools to improve team capabilities and business outcomes.
- • Works independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for assigned responsibilities.
- • Exercises judgment to diagnose and solve operational problems within established rules and controls.
- • May focus on specific business groups or product lines as needed.
