📋 Description

• As a Security Solution Architect at CSG Systems International, Inc., you will design, develop, and prototype system solutions to address business and security needs for CSG customers, ensuring performance, uptime, resiliency, security, supportability, and appropriate technology platform selections for client-facing and internal systems.
• You will provide leadership on technical and sales project teams, handle complex project issues and technical challenges, and work with management, customers, and cross-functional peers on long-range strategy requiring creative solutions.
• You will consult internally and externally on technical opportunities inherent in the existing product roadmap, build strong relationships with customer technical teams, and support Application Architects in selecting application frameworks and sizing applications for Platform as a Service methodologies.
• You will mentor and train other associates, assist in developing sales proposals and key documentation, and provide product and solution-based security expertise to facilitate solution selection and decision-making processes for customers.
• You will ensure requirements are clearly defined, variable, and scalable globally across the company, and guide sales, relationship management, and customer care teams to identify and prioritize requirements for new features and/or complex changes.
• You will extract, clarify, and translate customer and security requirements using complex methods/models to determine appropriate system solutions and cost models, and establish and implement technology migration strategies for applications or architectures.
• You will research, identify, test, certify, and select technology products required for solution delivery, and provide mentorship and training on processes and tools while handling more complex issues/requests.
• You will support the Application architects in selecting the application framework and, in conjunction with them, size the application and select the Platform as a Service methodologies, technologies, security model, and configurations to use.
• You will assist in the development of sales proposals and other key documentation leveraged during the sales process, and provide product and solution-based security expertise to help facilitate the solution selection and decision-making process.
• You will understand security standards and best practices, leverage knowledge of CSG applications, stay current with trends and emerging technologies, and provide guidance and direction to development and business groups on standards that drive down risk and drive up quality and performance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology security or equivalent education/experience.
• 10+ years of professional IT security experience in large scale, distributed environments with hands-on experience in multiple technologies and roles.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in information security architecture.
• Expert knowledge/experience in information security theory and practical application, security-by-design, privacy-by-design, assume breach principles, and security and privacy governance and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, PCI, GDPR, and others).
• Solid understanding of enterprise security technology architecture, enterprise network security architecture, and advanced understanding of hacker tools, techniques, and procedures.
• Programming and scripting experience in Python, Ruby, C#, and REST APIs, along with industry-standard operating systems (Windows and Linux).
