- • As a Senior Account Executive at Ameresco, you will drive service sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling Direct Digital Controls (DDC) systems and associated services to public sector, government, education, healthcare, and utility clients across the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Europe, supporting the company’s mission to help customers reduce costs, enhance resilience, and decarbonize to net zero.
- • Day to day, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans, build and maintain client relationships, conduct needs assessments, prepare detailed proposals, collaborate with technical teams on system design and installation, transition customers from installation to service, deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts, maintain CRM records, and meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- • Ameresco is a leading energy solutions provider specializing in smart energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, and infrastructure upgrades, serving public sector and government entities, K-12 schools, higher education, utilities, and healthcare customers with a focus on sustainability and innovation in the global energy transition.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in building automation and DDC systems, strengthen your consultative sales and technical communication skills, deepen your knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability solutions, and achieve measurable impact through revenue growth and long-term client partnerships in a mission-driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in service sales within the building automation industry or a related field
- • Proven track record in sales, especially in building automation or DDC industry
- • Strong knowledge of DDC systems, building automation, and related technologies
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical clients
- • Results-driven mindset with focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets
