  • • As a Senior Account Executive at Motorola Solutions, you will drive revenue growth by selling public safety solutions to government agencies in Southeast Florida, focusing on Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and act as a trusted advisor to influence customer technology decisions. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers including Sheriffs, Mayors, Police Chiefs, Fire Chiefs, and CIOs, while coordinating internal and external sales resources to align with customer needs. You will also partner with channel executives and solution providers to expand market reach and leverage procurement vehicles across target accounts. Success in this role requires a blend of sales expertise, public safety industry knowledge, and relationship-building skills to deliver long-term value and support Motorola Solutions’ mission of creating safer communities.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of sales or public safety experience, OR 8+ years of equivalent sales/public safety experience
  • • Proven experience with Salesforce for opportunity management and forecasting
  • • Demonstrated success in outside sales, particularly selling solutions to government organizations
  • • Strong relationship development and management skills
  • • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
  • • Ability to quickly learn and communicate product/solution value to customers
  • • Excellent negotiation skills
  • • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-level executives
  • • Ability to establish oneself as a trusted advisor
  • • Ability to lead diverse groups in addressing customer requirements
  • • Experience with high-tech solutions sales and knowledge of industry trends and best practices
  • • Highly motivated, results-oriented mindset
  • • Experience utilizing channel partners to address customer requirements
