  • • Stacker Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Account Executive to spearhead new business acquisition and contribute significantly to the scaling of our go-to-market strategy. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by owning the complete sales lifecycle for mid-market and enterprise clients. Your primary focus will be on expanding Stacker's presence within leading marketing, communications, and public relations departments, establishing Stacker as an indispensable tool for their content distribution and earned media strategies.
  • • As a full-cycle sales professional, you will be empowered with the autonomy to manage your own book of business from initial contact through to closing the deal. This includes proactive prospecting to identify high-potential leads, conducting in-depth discovery calls to understand client needs and challenges, delivering compelling presentations and pitches that showcase Stacker's unique value proposition, skillfully negotiating terms, and ultimately closing new business.
  • • You will be responsible for developing and executing a sophisticated go-to-market strategy, meticulously targeting high-value accounts. This involves cultivating strong, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers, including Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs), Vice Presidents of Marketing, Directors of Communications, and PR leaders. Your ability to connect with and influence these key stakeholders will be crucial for success.
  • • Collaboration is key to our success at Stacker. You will work closely with our Marketing team to align on lead generation and campaign efforts, partner with Account Management to ensure a seamless transition for new clients and foster long-term customer satisfaction, and engage with our Newsroom to leverage their expertise in crafting compelling narratives that resonate with publishers and drive impactful earned media placements. This cross-functional synergy ensures a holistic and exceptional customer journey from the very first interaction through to onboarding and ongoing success.
  • • Beyond closing new logos, you will play an active role in the continuous refinement of our sales processes. This includes contributing to improving pipeline quality, enhancing our sales methodologies, and elevating the overall Stacker sales experience as we continue to grow and scale. Your insights and feedback will be invaluable in shaping how we operate and sell.

  • • Your responsibilities will encompass owning the entire sales cycle, driving new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from initial prospecting and discovery through negotiation, closing, and renewal. You will be tasked with building and executing a strategic go-to-market plan targeting mid-market and enterprise accounts within marketing and communications sectors. Leading consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders, understanding their strategic objectives, and positioning Stacker as a critical solution will be paramount. Developing robust relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to navigate complex buying cycles is essential. You must clearly articulate Stacker's value proposition, tailoring your message to specific customer needs and use cases. Close partnership with Account Management and the Newsroom to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term customer success is required. Maintaining a healthy, forecastable pipeline using tools like HubSpot, Wiza, and Sales Navigator is a must. Analyzing performance data to refine sales strategies, improve conversion rates, and consistently exceed revenue targets will be a core function. Finally, contributing to the evolution of sales processes, messaging, and best practices as the team scales is expected.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5 years of experience in a closing sales role, with a strong preference for experience in martech, adtech, B2B SaaS, or the media industry.
  • • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue quotas in a full-cycle sales environment.
  • • Strong understanding of digital marketing, public relations, content marketing, SEO, and earned media principles.
  • • Demonstrated experience selling to and building relationships with senior marketing and communications leaders (e.g., CMOs, VPs, Directors).
  • • Consultative selling mindset with the ability to effectively diagnose customer needs and propose tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of confidence in presenting to senior executive audiences.
