- • As a Senior Account Executive for Dataminr's State, Local, and Education (SLED) team, you will be at the forefront of driving sales for our groundbreaking cybersecurity and corporate security solutions within the Mid-Atlantic region.
- • This role is pivotal in achieving sales quotas and spearheading the adoption of Dataminr's AI-powered intelligence platform by government and educational institutions.
- • You will be responsible for executing detailed sales campaigns, meticulously tracking progress, and ensuring the achievement of quarterly and annual sales targets through a well-defined and measurable sales process.
- • A core aspect of your role will involve building and nurturing a robust sales pipeline. This will be accomplished through proactive prospecting, strategic networking within the SLED sector, and effectively leveraging Dataminr's growing ecosystem of channel partners.
- • Cultivating and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations will be paramount. You will skillfully navigate complex enterprise sales cycles, from initial engagement to successful closing.
- • Developing a deep and nuanced understanding of your clients' needs, operational challenges, and internal decision-making processes is critical. This includes understanding their budget cycles and other vital information that informs their procurement strategies.
- • You will act as a trusted advisor, analyzing the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and effectively positioning Dataminr's unique value proposition to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- • A crucial part of this role involves providing invaluable feedback to our Product and Engineering teams. Your insights from the front lines of sales will directly contribute to the continuous enhancement, updates, and improvements of Dataminr's cutting-edge AI products.
- • Dataminr is at the cutting edge of AI innovation, utilizing technologies like Regenerative AI (ReGenAI) that automatically regenerates real-time Live Event Briefs as events unfold. You will be selling solutions powered by Agentic AI, including Intel Agents that autonomously generate critical context on real-time events, threats, and risks.
- • Furthermore, our platform's ability to process multimodal data – including images, video, sensor data, audio, and text in over 150 languages – provides a significant competitive advantage that you will articulate to potential clients.
- • You will be expected to master the competitive landscape, understanding the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to effectively differentiate Dataminr's offerings.
- • This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to account planning, ensuring that every engagement is tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each SLED client.
- • You will be instrumental in educating clients on the transformative potential of AI in enhancing their security posture and operational efficiency.
- • The Senior Account Executive will represent Dataminr at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, acting as a knowledgeable and persuasive advocate for our technology.
- • Success in this role means not only meeting but exceeding sales targets, contributing significantly to the growth and market penetration of Dataminr within the vital SLED sector.
- • You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success, to ensure a seamless and positive client experience from initial contact through to post-sale support.
- • The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
- • You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
- • A key objective is to build Dataminr's brand presence and reputation within the Mid-Atlantic SLED market, establishing the company as the go-to provider for real-time intelligence and AI-driven security solutions.
