  • • UniCourt is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive to spearhead our sales efforts and cultivate significant growth within the dynamic Southeast US market. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned sales professional with a deep understanding of the legal industry and a proven track record of success in enterprise B2B sales, particularly within the legal technology or data solutions space. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be instrumental in expanding UniCourt's footprint across some of the nation's most vibrant legal markets, targeting Am Law 200 firms and Fortune 500 companies that stand to benefit immensely from our cutting-edge Legal Data as a Service (LDaaS) platform.
  • • At UniCourt, we are revolutionizing how legal professionals access and leverage court data. Our API-first platform is the industry's only solution providing real-time, structured access to state and federal court records, transforming disparate data into actionable intelligence. This platform empowers legal analytics, drives revenue growth, and enhances client satisfaction strategies for our clients. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be the primary advocate for this transformative solution, engaging directly with key decision-makers and influencers within prospective client organizations.
  • • This is a true "hunter" role, demanding a proactive and strategic approach to identifying and securing new enterprise accounts. You will be entrusted with the full spectrum of the sales cycle, from initiating contact and building a robust pipeline through meticulous prospecting and strategic territory planning, to expertly navigating complex negotiations and ultimately closing deals. Your success will be measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales targets while contributing to the overarching growth objectives of the company.
  • • A core responsibility will be to develop and meticulously execute a comprehensive territory plan for the Southeast US. This plan will focus on key metropolitan areas such as Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Nashville, Tampa, and Richmond, identifying and prioritizing high-potential large law firms and enterprise clients. You will be expected to build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with C-Suite executives, knowledge management leaders, innovation teams, and other critical stakeholders within these target organizations.
  • • Employing a sophisticated, consultative sales methodology is paramount. You will delve deep into understanding the unique challenges, objectives, and data needs of each prospective client, positioning UniCourt's powerful data platform as the ideal, tailored solution. This involves skillfully articulating the value proposition of our API-first approach and demonstrating how our data can unlock new opportunities for efficiency, insight, and competitive advantage.
  • • Managing intricate, multi-stakeholder deal cycles will be a regular part of your role. This includes coordinating with internal teams and external partners, such as implementation specialists and data integration experts, to ensure a seamless and successful client onboarding process. Your ability to orchestrate these complex engagements will be key to closing deals and fostering client success.
  • • Collaboration is central to our success. You will work closely with our marketing, product, and customer success teams to refine sales messaging, provide invaluable market intelligence, and contribute to the ongoing development of our go-to-market strategies. Your insights from the front lines of sales will directly influence product development and marketing initiatives.
  • • Representing UniCourt at prominent Southeast regional legal industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events is an essential aspect of building brand awareness and generating leads. You will be a visible and knowledgeable ambassador for our company, engaging with the legal community and staying abreast of emerging trends.
  • • Continuous learning and market awareness are critical. You will be expected to stay informed about the competitive landscape, evolving market trends, and specific developments within the Southeast legal market to maintain a strategic edge. This includes understanding how legal data is being utilized and the future trajectory of legal technology.
