📋 Description

  • As a Senior Account Executive for Western Europe, with a primary focus on the Italian market, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our cutting-edge AI solutions within enterprise-level organizations.
  • This role is a critical component of our expanding Western Europe Sales team, tasked with revolutionizing the industry through innovative AI-powered customer experience (CX) platforms.
  • You will engage directly with potential customers, delving deep into their unique business needs, strategic objectives, and operational challenges to identify how Cognigy's advanced AI capabilities can provide transformative solutions.
  • Your primary responsibility will be the acquisition of new enterprise clients across a diverse range of industries throughout Western Europe, with a significant emphasis on Italy, and secondary focus on Spain and Portugal.
  • A key aspect of your role will involve the proactive and self-directed development and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline, complemented by strategic collaboration with our internal Business Development Representative (BDR) resources to maximize outreach and lead generation.
  • You will be responsible for crafting, nurturing, and regularly reviewing comprehensive territory plans designed to strategically align with and achieve ambitious business goals.
  • This position demands the management of complete sales cycles, from initial account planning and targeted prospecting through in-depth discovery and qualification, to complex contract negotiation and successful closing.
  • A consultative, value-centric approach is paramount, requiring you to engage with senior executives to articulate tangible business value, develop compelling business cases, construct detailed ROI models, and lead strategic conversations around digital transformation.
  • You will coordinate and manage responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs), ensuring timely and accurate submissions that highlight our competitive advantages.
  • A highly collaborative approach is essential, necessitating close partnership with a variety of internal teams, including BDRs, Presales support specialists, Marketing, Product development, Finance, and Leadership, to ensure seamless customer engagement and successful deal progression.
  • You will represent Cognigy at key industry trade fairs, conferences, and events, acting as a brand ambassador and thought leader.
  • This role involves the preparation, presentation, and delivery of compelling product demonstrations, strategic presentations, and engaging customer meetings, tailored to the specific needs of each prospect.
  • Effective and consistent utilization of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is required to meticulously track sales cycles, manage customer interactions, and provide accurate forecasting.
  • You will leverage your expertise to identify and engage with C-level executives and senior management, understanding their strategic priorities and demonstrating how Cognigy's AI solutions can drive significant business outcomes.
  • The ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner is crucial for success in this role.
  • You will be expected to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the AI and CX domains to maintain a strategic advantage.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven track record of success as an Enterprise Sales Executive, with extensive experience selling SaaS solutions, ideally within the Contact Center or Conversational AI space.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas in a competitive enterprise software market.
  • Strong understanding of AI, Conversational AI, and Customer Experience (CX) technologies and their business applications.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese is a significant advantage.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with senior executives (SVP/C-Level) and navigating large enterprise organizations.
  • Hunter mentality with a proactive, self-directed approach to prospecting and pipeline generation.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote, autonomous work environment.
  • Exceptional professional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a customer-centric and personable demeanor.
  • Ability to balance independent sales cycle management with effective collaboration and leverage of internal resources (BDRs, Presales, etc.).
  • Comfort and experience leveraging partner channels to support and accelerate the sales process.
