- • Own and accelerate the Creator Economy P&L across Greater China. You will be the single-threaded leader for a multi-million-dollar book of business that includes marquee names such as TikTok, Bigo, Likee, Huya, Kwai and Mico. Your mandate is to deepen wallet-share, launch new monetisation products and turn Coda into the default payments and distribution partner for every creator-centric platform in the region.
- • Architect growth strategies that move the revenue needle. Analyse market signals, creator payout trends and platform policy shifts to craft quarterly growth plans that unlock new spend. Translate insights into concrete sales plays—whether that means bundling Codapay checkout flows with creator tipping wallets, rolling out Giftcloud-powered reward campaigns for top streamers or piloting prepaid card programmes for emerging VTuber agencies.
- • Run the full account lifecycle like a founder. From first pitch to renewal, you will map economic buyers, negotiate commercials, draft SOWs and shepherd integrations through Project Management, Engineering and Legal. When TikTok launches a new LIVE gifting tier or Kwai experiments with NFT badges, you will be in the room shaping the commercial model and ensuring Coda is first to market.
- • Remove every blocker between our partners and revenue. Whether it is a KYC policy change that freezes payouts, a tax ruling that impacts cross-border remittances or a product feature gap that caps creator earnings, you will rally Product, Compliance and Finance to ship fixes at speed. Your escalation emails turn into Jira tickets and ultimately into revenue within weeks, not quarters.
- • Orchestrate cross-functional launches that make headlines. Partner with Marketing to co-create go-to-market campaigns—think limited-edition creator gift cards, joint press releases with unicorn apps and data-driven case studies that showcase 3× uplift in creator retention. You will brief designers, approve copy and stand on stage at industry events to tell the story.
- • Evangelise Coda’s creator economy vision internally and externally. Internally, you will run quarterly business reviews that educate leadership on creator payout mechanics, fraud vectors and emerging monetisation models. Externally, you will represent Coda at ChinJoy, GMIC and private founder dinners, turning every handshake into pipeline.
- • Build the playbook for the next generation of account managers. Document best practices, onboard junior reps and codify the sales motions that turn creator platforms into lifelong partners. Your templates and battle cards will become the curriculum for the Creator Academy we launch next year.
- • Champion an inclusive, high-ownership culture. Whether you are mentoring a new grad in Shanghai or collaborating with engineers in Amsterdam, you will model Coda’s values of respect, clarity and ownership. You celebrate wins loudly and learn from losses openly, ensuring the team grows faster than the market.
