- • The Senior Accountant role at Advizex, a Myriad360 company, is critical to maintaining financial integrity and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, compliance, and audit readiness. This position ensures the organization’s financial records are precise, up-to-date, and aligned with evolving accounting standards, directly contributing to operational transparency and stakeholder trust.
- • Day to day, the Senior Accountant will maintain accurate financial records, prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports, lead or assist in internal and external audit processes, reconcile complex accounts, manage month-end and year-end closing activities, assess and strengthen internal controls, handle sales tax compliance, provide variance analysis and financial insights to management, and support budgeting and forecasting initiatives in partnership with Finance leadership.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in complex accounting standards (ASC 842, CECL, Rev 606), gain experience in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or Global Systems Integrator (GSI) environment, enhance leadership in audit and financial reporting, and develop strategic influence by translating financial data into actionable insights for management — positioning them for advancement into senior finance or controllership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Experience working within a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or Global Systems Integrator (GSI) environment
- • In-depth knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and familiarity with recent regulations such as ASC 842, CECL, and Rev 606
- • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- • Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and audit documentation
- • Understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles
- • High attention to detail and accuracy with minimal guidance or oversight
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
