  • • Take full ownership of assigned general ledger accounts, ensuring meticulous identification, timely resolution, and proactive prevention of any discrepancies. This involves a deep dive into account activity, performing complex accounting tasks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of general ledger records.
  • • Conduct thorough research, analysis, and resolution of accounting discrepancies and process-related issues, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to financial accuracy.
  • • Prepare precise journal entries, reconcile ledger accounts with utmost care, and execute comprehensive monthly and quarterly fluctuation analyses. This critical step supports accurate financial reporting and ensures a smooth, reliable financial close process.
  • • Develop and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including integrated revenue and expense analyses. This requires synthesizing complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • • Collaborate closely with various business units, project teams, and operational stakeholders. Your role will involve investigating accounting impacts, escalating issues when necessary, and implementing robust, sustainable solutions that enhance financial processes and controls.
  • • Design, implement, and continuously refine reconciliation processes and associated controls. The goal is to promote ongoing accuracy, enhance transparency, and ensure timely variance resolution, thereby strengthening the overall financial infrastructure.
  • • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring strict adherence to US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, and established company policies. This requires a strong understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to provide clear, concise documentation and explanations.
  • • Lead and participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives that have a significant impact on financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. This includes identifying opportunities for enhancement and driving their successful implementation.
  • • Develop comprehensive desktop procedures and training materials. You will also support training efforts for both domestic and non-domestic teams, ensuring operational sustainability and consistent application of accounting principles across different regions.
  • • Analyze non-domestic production data against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to identify potential quality, timeliness, or productivity issues. Based on this analysis, you will recommend and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
  • • Apply sound professional judgment, critical thinking, and extensive accounting expertise to solve complex financial problems and determine the most appropriate and effective course of action. This role demands a proactive and analytical approach to financial management.
  • • Contribute to the maintenance of the integrity of accounting information and systems in strict accordance with US GAAP, other regulatory bodies, and company policy. This foundational responsibility underpins all other tasks and ensures the reliability of financial data.
  • • Play an active role in the preparation of public financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, SEC filings, DOI reports, and other essential regulatory reports. This requires a thorough understanding of reporting requirements and deadlines.
  • • Evaluate or support the evaluation of company and regional profitability, efficiency, and product performance. This involves analyzing financial data to provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • • Assess the effects of changes in accounting regulations on the Company’s financial statements and accounting controls, ensuring the company remains compliant and adapts proactively to evolving standards.
  • • Execute accounting policies and procedures with precision and diligence, participating actively in internal and external audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for strengthening processes and controls.
