📋 Description

• As a Senior Accounting Analyst at PPRO Financial Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our dynamic accounting department. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial reporting processes. • You will be a key player in developing and implementing robust systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information. • This role is an integral part of our global Accounting team, which comprises dedicated and passionate accounting professionals spread across various international locations including Munich, Frankfurt, London, Luxembourg, Mexico City, Sao Paolo, and Singapore. You will collaborate closely with these team members, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and best practices.
• Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of accounting activities, including but not limited to, general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable oversight, bank reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.
• You will be tasked with preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• A significant aspect of your role will involve data analysis. You will delve into financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas of concern or opportunity, providing insightful reports to management.
• You will contribute to the enhancement of internal controls and accounting policies, ensuring that PPRO's financial operations are secure and adhere to best practices.
• This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions swiftly and effectively.
• You will support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
• Collaboration is key. You will work closely with other departments, such as Finance, Operations, and Business Development, to gather information, provide financial insights, and support strategic decision-making.
• You will assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, contributing to the financial planning and analysis functions of the company.
• The role involves utilizing accounting software and ERP systems to their full potential, and you may be involved in testing and implementing new financial systems or upgrades.
• You will stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, ensuring PPRO remains compliant and competitive.
• Your analytical skills will be crucial in evaluating financial performance against key metrics and identifying drivers of performance.
• You will be involved in ad-hoc financial projects and analyses as required by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to take on new challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
• Experience with IFRS or relevant local GAAP.
