- ⢠As a Senior Accounting Analyst at PPRO Financial Ltd in London, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with finance, treasury, and business unit leaders to deliver insightful financial analysis, variance reporting, and forecasting that drives performance and compliance. Your expertise will contribute to PPROās mission of simplifying access to local payment methods and enabling global commerce through reliable financial stewardship.
- ⢠You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards, ensuring all disclosures are accurate and complete.
- ⢠You will conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, including revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow, identifying trends and variances to support business planning.
- ⢠You will assist in the preparation of management reports, board packs, and investor communications, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
- ⢠You will support internal and external audit processes by providing working papers, reconciliations, and detailed explanations of financial positions.
- ⢠You will monitor and analyze key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- ⢠You will contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies in financial close, reporting, and consolidation activities, and recommending automation or system enhancements.
- ⢠You will assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises, working with FP&A teams to develop accurate financial projections and scenarios.
- ⢠You will ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and internal financial policies, including SOX, GDPR, and FCA requirements where applicable.
- ⢠You will participate in cross-functional initiatives, supporting mergers and acquisitions, system integrations, and new product launches with financial due diligence and valuation support.
šÆ Requirements
- ⢠Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, or audit, preferably within financial services, fintech, or payment processing industries.
- ⢠Strong technical proficiency in UK GAAP and IFRS, with practical experience in preparing consolidated financial statements for complex, multinational organizations.
- ⢠Advanced skills in financial modeling, variance analysis, and forecasting, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into business insights.
- ⢠Excellent proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, OneStream) is highly desirable.
- ⢠Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in all financial deliverables.
- ⢠Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders, including senior management and auditors.
- ⢠Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
