- • As a Senior AI Fullstack Engineer at Jimdo GmbH, you will design and build the core systems powering Jimdo Companion—an intelligent AI assistant that helps millions of entrepreneurs automate business tasks, receive personalized recommendations, and grow their businesses through proactive, AI-powered experiences.
- • You will work across the full stack, developing scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript, building intuitive frontend experiences with React, and creating agentic AI workflows powered by large language models, including prompt engineering, guardrails, and agent coordination using frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph.
- • You will join Jimdo’s AI Team, a remote-first, cross-functional group within a profitable, international company of 220+ people from 50+ nationalities, dedicated to empowering solopreneurs and micro-businesses through an AI-powered platform that combines design, business tools, and data-driven guidance.
- • In this role, you will shape Jimdo’s AI platform, influence technical direction, enable other engineering teams to build AI-powered products, champion AI-augmented development practices, and grow your expertise in production-grade LLM systems while contributing to a mission-driven, inclusive culture.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including senior or technical leadership experience
- • Strong full-stack expertise with Node.js, TypeScript, and React
- • Hands-on experience building AI-powered products using LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, or AI APIs that have reached production users, preferably with LangChain & LangGraph
- • Experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar to accelerate software development while maintaining engineering quality
- • Strong understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and modern engineering practices
- • Excellent collaboration skills and enthusiasm for working in a remote-first, cross-functional environment
