- • Senior AI Engineer at Fieldguide Inc., responsible for designing and shipping AI agents that automate complex audit workflows for assurance and audit practitioners in cybersecurity, privacy, and financial audits.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing agentic architectures, orchestrating LLMs and retrieval systems, building evaluation frameworks, shipping production-grade AI features, mentoring engineers, and partnering with product and design to drive customer impact.
- • Fieldguide is a remote-first company based in San Francisco, backed by top investors including Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Bessemer Venture Partners, trusted by over 50 of the top 100 accounting and consulting firms to power mission-critical audit and advisory work.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-native systems, lead end-to-end agent development, improve system reliability and observability, mentor teammates, and shape engineering best practices while delivering tangible value to enterprise customers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–6+ years shipping production software in complex, real-world systems
- • Strong command of TypeScript, Python, and Postgres
- • Shipped LLM-powered features serving real production traffic
- • Built retrieval pipelines and agent orchestration systems
- • Implemented evaluation frameworks for model outputs and agent behavior
- • Hands-on experience with modern LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) and agent frameworks
