Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Design and build multi-agent systems and RAG pipelines to automate financial workflows for private equity-backed portfolio companies
- • Own the full stack of AI system development—from prompt engineering and tool design to deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement
- • Practice eval-driven development by defining success metrics and evaluation frameworks before building AI solutions
- • Translate ambiguous client problems in finance and operations into clear engineering requirements and deliver working solutions in compressed timeframes
- • Present and defend architectural decisions to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, including CFOs and private equity operators
- • Build and maintain observability and evaluation infrastructure to detect regressions, measure output quality, and continuously improve production AI systems
- • Work within purpose-built AI-augmented delivery pods that combine AI engineering, data science, and product management to transform finance and operations workflows
- • Ship end-to-end agentic AI solutions within client engagements, from scoping through production deployment, within sprint-based timelines
- • Travel to client sites as required to support implementation, collaboration, and delivery
- • Operate in a high-velocity environment where sprints are short, client expectations are high, and velocity is prioritized over rigid processes
- • Use AI tools to materially increase personal and team output, demonstrating measurable improvements in delivery speed and quality
- • Collaborate directly with clients and cross-functional pod teammates from day one to ensure solutions are aligned with real-world business needs
- • Maintain a focus on building production-grade, reliable, and reusable AI systems that operate in live financial environments
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–8+ years of software engineering experience with a notable portion in AI/ML systems, agent development, or applied LLM engineering
- • Hands-on experience building production LLM applications: RAG systems, agentic workflows, tool use, and multi-agent orchestration
- • Proficiency in Python and experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, DSPy, or equivalent orchestration frameworks
- • Strong grasp of evaluation methodologies: designing evals, catching regressions, and assessing LLM output quality
- • Solid data engineering fundamentals: ETL design, SQL/NoSQL, vector databases, and streaming or batch pipelines
- • AI tools are woven into daily work, with concrete evidence of materially increased speed and output due to AI usage
🏖️ Benefits
- • Annual salary range of $144,500 to $230,000 USD plus significant bonus
- • Hybrid work model with flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week
- • Opportunity to work with 1,600+ finance and technology experts in a collaborative, high-growth environment
- • Exposure to premier private equity firms and their portfolio companies across diverse sectors including Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Technology, and Logistics
