📋 Description

• As a Senior AI Engineer at Lendable Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s AI-driven engineering platform, enabling faster, safer, and more innovative development across the organization. Your work will directly impact engineering throughput by building intelligent tooling that integrates AI into core workflows, reducing manual effort and accelerating delivery.
• You will design, build, and maintain AI-powered integrations and automation systems that connect internal data sources—such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, GitHub, Snowflake, and Confluence—to Lendable’s AI infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and governed access to knowledge for AI agents and tools.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing connectors and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations, constructing knowledge base pipelines, and creating API-driven solutions that power AI tooling across engineering, product, and operations teams.
• You will enable non-engineers and cross-functional teams to build AI-powered workflows and internal tools using rapid app builders like n8n and AWS Bedrock, providing templates, guardrails, and reusable components that promote safe experimentation and adoption.
• Collaborating closely with product managers and engineering leads, you will identify high-leverage opportunities for AI augmentation, ship features rapidly, measure impact through metrics like time saved and error reduction, and iterate based on real-world usage and feedback.
• You will work at the forefront of AI tooling, experimenting with LLMs, embeddings, agentic patterns, and workflow orchestration to solve real engineering challenges—not just prototypes—ensuring solutions are production-ready, observable, and maintainable.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of building AI tooling or internal developer platforms used by others in a commercial environment
• Strong full-stack proficiency in Python or TypeScript, including frontend skills with Next.js or React to build intuitive interfaces for engineers
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, AI application patterns, and shipping containerized software to Kubernetes
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and proven ability to design and build secure API integrations with systems like Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, GitHub, Snowflake, and Confluence
• Self-starter mindset with end-to-end ownership: from problem identification and design to implementation, monitoring, and iteration, driven by measurable impact and user adoption
