This pivotal role involves translating high-level governance policies into tangible, scalable, and actionable initiatives that ensure the responsible and compliant adoption of AI technologies across our organization. You will act as a central orchestrator, fostering collaboration among diverse cross-functional teams, meticulously managing dependencies, and ensuring that all AI initiatives are delivered efficiently, within defined scope, and on budget.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to operationalize existing AI governance policies, standards, and frameworks, embedding them into the fabric of our AI development and deployment lifecycles. This includes developing and maintaining comprehensive program roadmaps, detailed timelines, and critical milestones for the successful implementation of governance measures.
- • You will be instrumental in planning and managing the requirements for AI risk, compliance, and assessment processes. This involves diligently tracking the completion of objectives, reporting on findings, and overseeing the remediation of any identified issues to maintain a robust risk posture.
- • A key aspect of this role is coordinating efforts across various departments, including business units and technical teams, to ensure that governance requirements are seamlessly integrated into every stage of AI development. You will drive and execute complex initiatives that often involve significant cross-departmental dependencies, requiring strong leadership and communication skills.
- • You will be responsible for tracking and reporting on key governance program metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and overall compliance status to senior leadership, providing clear insights into the program's effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- • Serving as the primary point of contact for AI governance implementation, you will engage with stakeholders at all levels, from business unit leaders to technical teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment.
- • You will facilitate regular governance review meetings, ensuring active participation and constructive dialogue among stakeholders to address challenges and drive progress.
- • Maintaining a keen awareness of existing and proposed enterprise AI policies and standards is crucial. You will provide essential support in the development of new policies and the refinement of existing ones to keep pace with the evolving AI landscape.
- • Identifying regulatory changes that may impact information policies, standards, and procedures will be a significant part of your role. You will proactively recommend and implement appropriate changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
- • You will lead critical activities related to the lifecycle of remediation efforts. This includes tracking delivery timelines, developing action plans, gathering and reviewing evidence artifacts, providing feedback on the appropriateness of these artifacts, and developing documentation for closure submission.
- • Driving the direction, development, and maturity of our enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools will be a key objective, ensuring they effectively support our AI governance objectives.
- • Preparing comprehensive governance documentation for Senior Management, including team updates, Board reports, and other critical reporting initiatives, will be a regular duty.
- • You will continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the overall excellence of the team. This involves leading complex projects to completion, on time and within budget, proactively escalating concerns, and providing regular status updates.
- • Developing and implementing best practices for gathering, reporting, and representing security KPIs and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to various stakeholders will enhance our ability to monitor and manage AI risks effectively.
- • Performing other duties as assigned and strictly complying with all company policies and standards are fundamental expectations of this role.
