📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series simultaneously, each consisting of 10–15 episodes of approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end creative process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers with minute-to-minute narrative escalation.
• Work directly with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting suggestions, and automated trailer generation.
• Leverage AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance to produce high-quality vertical drama content.
• Collaborate with AI Content Creators, the tech team, other Short Film Directors, and executive leadership to align creative output with product vision.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content stack; prior experience with AI tools is preferred but training will be provided.
• Maintain strict adherence to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, ensuring all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Deliver high-velocity output with obsessive attention to speed, iteration, and performance metrics.
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
• Maintain clear, fluent English communication for seamless collaboration across global teams.
• Demonstrate ownership, humility, and openness to feedback while driving creative excellence under tight deadlines.
• Adapt storytelling techniques to vertical video platforms optimized for mobile consumption and AI-driven audience engagement.
• Contribute to the creation of world-first AI companionship content that redefines human-AI relationships at scale.
• Participate in annual in-person team gatherings to foster collaboration, brainstorming, and cultural alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience using AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Fluency in English for clear communication and collaboration
• Experience with vertical drama platforms and mobile-optimized storytelling
• Goal-oriented mindset with ownership, commitment, and a doer attitude
