📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes of approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers with minute-to-minute narrative escalation.
• Collaborate with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting suggestions, and automated trailer generation while maintaining full creative control over storytelling and craft.
• Leverage AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance to produce content; receive training to become an expert in EverAI’s proprietary AI stack.
• Work independently as the sole director and editor for each episode, ensuring high-quality output aligned with brand tone and user engagement goals.
• Partner with AI Content Creators, the tech team, and other Short Film Directors to refine workflows, share insights, and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain strict adherence to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, to ensure all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Iterate rapidly on feedback from the executive team and user data, prioritizing speed, performance, and continuous improvement in content delivery.
• Demonstrate obsessive attention to detail in narrative structure, visual composition, and timing to maximize viewer retention on vertical platforms.
• Bring proven experience in short-form narrative video production, specifically within vertical drama formats, to shape the future of AI-driven companionship content.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in fluent English with cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Embrace a doer mindset: balance strategic planning with rapid execution in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
• Remain humble and open to feedback, actively seeking to learn and adapt as EverAI’s AI tools evolve.
• Contribute to a culture of radical creativity, ownership, and velocity within a globally distributed team of top-tier talent.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts: hooks, cliffhangers, minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Fluent in English
• Goal-oriented with ownership and commitment
