📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes (~1 minute per episode) plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, casting, pacing, and final editing — with full creative control over storytelling, hooks, and minute-to-minute escalation.
• Collaborate with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot to maintain character consistency, generate AI-assisted casting options, and produce trailers using proprietary tools.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content creation stack, including tools like Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance — no prior expertise required, but familiarity is preferred.
• Work exclusively with vertical drama platforms and understand the pacing, structure, and engagement patterns unique to mobile-first short-form narrative content.
• Partner closely with AI Content Creators, the tech team, and other Short Film Directors to align creative vision with technical capabilities and platform requirements.
• Deliver high-quality, emotionally resonant episodes on tight iteration cycles, balancing creative excellence with speed and performance metrics.
• Maintain strict adherence to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, ensuring all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Operate as a self-directed, ownership-driven creator with a doer mindset — capable of planning, executing, and iterating without constant oversight.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in fluent English with cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Embrace feedback, remain humble, and continuously improve creative output based on user engagement data and team input.
• Work fully remotely with autonomy over schedule and environment, while maintaining consistent delivery and responsiveness.
• Participate in annual in-person team gatherings to foster collaboration, brainstorming, and cultural alignment.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Fluent in English
• Goal-oriented with ownership mindset and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
