📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes of approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers with minute-to-minute narrative escalation.
• Collaborate with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting suggestions, and trailer generation, leveraging proprietary AI tools to enhance creative output.
• Apply strong storytelling instincts refined through experience in short-form narrative video, specifically tailored for vertical platforms.
• Work directly with AI Content Creators, the tech team, and other Short Film Directors to align creative vision with technical capabilities of EverAI’s AI stack.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content creation tools and workflows — prior experience with Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance is preferred but not required as training will be provided.
• Maintain full creative ownership of each episode while adhering to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, ensuring all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Deliver high-quality, polished episodes on tight iteration cycles, balancing speed, precision, and narrative impact.
• Operate independently as a doer with a strong sense of ownership, commitment, and urgency in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in fluent English with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
• Embrace feedback, remain humble, and continuously iterate based on performance data and team input.
• Contribute to a culture of radical creativity, velocity, and excellence within a global team of top-tier talent from Tier 1 tech companies.
• Utilize company-provided AI tools including ChatGPT, Cursor, Hugging Face, and Claude Code to enhance workflow efficiency and creative exploration.
• Participate in the annual in-person team gathering to foster connection, brainstorming, and celebration of milestones.
• Maintain professional growth through access to the Learning Budget for courses, books, conferences, or certifications.
• Work from any location globally with full remote flexibility, supported by a co-working space budget of up to 35 EUR per visit (twice monthly) and a company-provided laptop plus 250 USD monitor budget.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute narrative escalation
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Proficiency in AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Fluent English communication skills
• Doer mindset with ownership, commitment, and ability to balance execution, planning, and strategy
