📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes (~1 minute per episode) plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and minute-to-minute narrative escalation.
• Collaborate with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting suggestions, and automated trailer generation.
• Apply strong storytelling instincts refined through experience in short-form narrative video to create emotionally engaging, binge-worthy content.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content creation stack, including tools like Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance — prior exposure preferred but not required.
• Work directly with AI Content Creators, the tech team, and other Short Film Directors to align creative vision with technical capabilities.
• Maintain strict adherence to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, ensuring all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Deliver high-quality, polished episodes on tight iteration cycles with obsessive attention to speed, performance, and quality.
• Operate with full ownership: from initial concept to final delivery, with no handoffs — you are the sole director and editor for your series.
• Adapt quickly to evolving AI tools and production workflows while maintaining artistic integrity and narrative coherence.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in English with cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Embrace a doer mindset: balance strategic planning with rapid execution in a fast-moving, high-velocity environment.
• Remain humble and open to feedback, continuously iterating based on data, user engagement, and team input.
• Contribute to a culture of radical creativity, ownership, and excellence within a fully remote, elite global team.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Fluency in English for clear communication and collaboration
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Goal-oriented mindset with ownership and commitment to long-term impact
