📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes (~1 minute per episode) plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers with minute-to-minute narrative escalation.
• Collaborate with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting suggestions, and automated trailer generation.
• Apply strong storytelling instincts refined through experience in short-form narrative video to craft emotionally engaging, platform-optimized content.
• Leverage prior familiarity with AI video generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance to accelerate production workflows.
• Adapt quickly to EverAI’s proprietary AI content stack through training provided by the team.
• Work closely with AI Content Creators, the tech team, other Short Film Directors, and executive leadership to align creative vision with technical capabilities.
• Maintain full creative ownership over each episode while integrating feedback and iterating rapidly based on performance and user engagement.
• Ensure all content adheres to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, to uphold ethical, safe, and human-first standards.
• Deliver high-quality, polished episodes on tight deadlines with obsessive attention to speed, performance, and iteration.
• Operate as a self-driven doer with strong ownership mindset, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-moving remote environment.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in fluent English across global teams.
• Remain humble and open to learning, embracing feedback and new AI tools as core components of the creative process.
• Contribute to a culture of radical creativity, velocity, and excellence within a fully remote team of top-tier talent from Tier 1 tech companies.
• Utilize provided premium AI tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, Hugging Face, Claude Code, etc.) to enhance creativity, efficiency, and output quality.
• Participate in the annual in-person team meetup to foster connection, brainstorming, and celebration of milestones.
• Maintain professional growth through access to the learning budget for courses, books, conferences, or certifications.
• Set up an optimized remote workspace using the provided company laptop and up to 250 USD monitor budget.
• Recharge with 4 weeks (20 working days) of paid time off per year.
• Access monthly health insurance allowance of 100 USD and unlimited 1:1 sessions with psychologists and lifestyle experts via OpenUp (extendable to three family members).
• Use co-working space budget of up to 35 EUR (40 USD) per visit, twice per month, to stay inspired and connected.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute narrative escalation
• Experience using AI video generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Fluent English communication skills
• Demonstrated doer mindset with ownership, speed, and iterative execution
