📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes (~1 minute per episode) plus a trailer.
• Write original scripts with strong narrative hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation tailored for short-form vertical platforms.
• Own end-to-end production of each episode, from concept to final delivery, using in-house AI tools for character consistency, casting, and trailer generation.
• Collaborate closely with AI Content Creators, the tech team, other Short Film Directors, and executive leadership to align creative vision with technical capabilities.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content stack, including tools like Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance — prior experience with these tools is preferred but not required.
• Maintain strict creative control over storytelling, pacing, tone, and visual style while adapting to rapid iteration cycles and feedback loops.
• Ensure all content adheres to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, to uphold ethical, safe, and human-first standards.
• Work independently with high autonomy while maintaining clear, fluent English communication with remote global team members.
• Deliver high-quality output on tight deadlines with an obsessive focus on speed, performance, and iterative improvement.
• Embrace a doer mindset: balance strategic planning with rapid execution, taking full ownership of creative outcomes.
• Remain open to feedback, willing to learn, and humble in approach, recognizing that AI tools are evolving rapidly and require adaptive creativity.
• Contribute to a culture of radical creativity, velocity, and ownership within a fully remote, elite team of A-players from top-tier tech companies.
• Utilize provided AI tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, Hugging Face, Claude Code, etc.) to enhance workflow, ideation, and production efficiency.
• Participate in the annual in-person team meetup to foster collaboration, brainstorming, and team bonding.
• Maintain professional growth through the dedicated learning budget for courses, books, conferences, or certifications.
• Work from any location globally, with flexibility to use co-working spaces up to twice per month at company expense.
• Operate under a flexible B2B contract structure with emphasis on long-term commitment and measurable impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts for hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Fluency in English for clear communication and collaboration
• Proven experience with vertical drama platforms
• Goal-oriented mindset with ownership, commitment, and a doer attitude
