📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes (~1 minute per episode) plus a trailer.
• Write original scripts with strong narrative hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation tailored for short-form vertical platforms.
• Lead end-to-end production of each episode, from concept to final cut, using proprietary AI tools for character consistency, casting, and trailer generation.
• Collaborate closely with in-house AI Content Creators, the tech team, and other Short Film Directors to align creative vision with AI capabilities.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI stack for content creation; prior experience with AI tools like Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance is preferred but not required.
• Maintain strict creative control over storytelling, pacing, and emotional tone while adapting to iterative feedback from the executive team.
• Ensure all content adheres to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, to uphold ethical, safe, and human-first standards.
• Work independently with a doer mindset, balancing planning, execution, and rapid iteration in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in fluent English with cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Demonstrate ownership and commitment to long-term impact, delivering high-quality episodes on schedule with obsessive attention to speed and performance.
• Remain humble and open to feedback, continuously learning and refining creative processes in alignment with evolving AI technologies.
• Contribute to a culture of radical creativity, velocity, and excellence within a globally distributed team of top-tier talent.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts for hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Proficiency with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Fluent English communication skills
• Goal-oriented, ownership-driven mindset with a doer attitude
