- • Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes of approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer.
- • Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers with minute-to-minute narrative escalation.
- • Collaborate with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting suggestions, and automated trailer generation while maintaining full creative control over storytelling and craft.
- • Work directly with the team of AI Content Creators, tech engineers, and other Short Film Directors to align creative vision with AI capabilities and production pipelines.
- • Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content creation stack, including tools like Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance — prior experience with these tools is preferred but training will be provided.
- • Ensure all content adheres to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, to maintain ethical, safe, and human-first standards across all productions.
- • Maintain obsessive attention to speed, performance, and iteration, delivering high-quality episodes on tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- • Demonstrate strong ownership and a doer mindset, balancing strategic planning with rapid execution in a fully remote, high-velocity team.
- • Communicate clearly and collaboratively in fluent English with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- • Embrace feedback with humility and a willingness to learn, adapting creative approaches based on data, user feedback, and AI-generated insights.
- • Utilize company-provided AI tools including ChatGPT, Cursor, Hugging Face, Claude Code, and other platforms to enhance workflow, creativity, and efficiency.
- • Participate in the annual in-person team gathering to connect, brainstorm, and celebrate milestones with the global team.
- • Maintain a professional workspace with access to a company-provided laptop and up to 250 USD for monitor or equipment setup.
- • Access co-working spaces up to twice per month (35 EUR / 40 USD per visit) to foster inspiration and connection.
- • Pursue professional growth through a dedicated learning budget for courses, books, conferences, or certifications.
- • Receive a monthly 100 USD allowance for health insurance expenses and unlimited 1:1 sessions with psychologists and lifestyle experts via OpenUp, extendable to up to three family members.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
- • Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute narrative escalation
- • Experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
- • Fluency in English for clear communication and collaboration
- • Experience working on vertical drama platforms
- • Goal-oriented mindset with ownership, commitment, and a doer attitude
