📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes (~1 minute per episode) plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers with minute-to-minute narrative escalation.
• Collaborate with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting suggestions, and automated trailer generation.
• Apply strong storytelling instincts refined through experience in short-form narrative video to create emotionally engaging, binge-worthy content.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content creation stack, including tools like Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance — prior exposure preferred but not required.
• Work directly with AI Content Creators, the tech team, other Short Film Directors, and executive leadership to align creative vision with technical capabilities.
• Maintain strict adherence to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, ensuring all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Deliver high-quality episodes on tight iteration cycles with obsessive attention to speed, performance, and quality.
• Operate independently with a doer mindset, balancing planning, execution, and strategic feedback in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.
• Bring professional-grade film editing skills and narrative discipline to a cutting-edge AI-driven production pipeline.
• Adapt quickly to evolving AI tools and workflows while maintaining creative control and artistic integrity.
• Contribute to the cultural relevance and global user growth of the world’s largest AI companionship platform, serving 50M+ users and targeting 100M+.
• Participate in annual in-person team gatherings to collaborate, brainstorm, and celebrate milestones with the global creative team.
• Utilize provided company equipment including a laptop and up to 250 USD for workspace monitor setup.
• Access premium AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Hugging Face, and Claude Code to enhance creativity and workflow efficiency.
• Receive a monthly 100 USD allowance for health insurance expenses and unlimited 1:1 sessions with psychologists and lifestyle experts via OpenUp (extendable to three family members).
• Work from any location with full remote flexibility and choose your optimal creative environment.
• Receive up to 4 weeks (20 working days) of paid time off annually to recharge and maintain well-being.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute narrative escalation
• Experience with vertical drama platforms and familiarity with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Fluent in English with strong communication and collaborative skills
• Goal-oriented mindset with ownership, commitment, and a doer attitude
• Humble and open to feedback, willing to learn new AI workflows quickly
