📋 Description

• Direct, edit, and finish 1–2 vertical (9:16) short drama series at a time, each consisting of 10–15 episodes (~1 minute per episode) plus a trailer.
• Own the end-to-end production process including scriptwriting, character development, pacing, hooks, and cliffhangers designed for minute-to-minute escalation.
• Work directly with EverAI’s in-house AI copilot for character consistency, casting, and trailer generation, leveraging proprietary AI tools to enhance creative output.
• Bring strong storytelling instincts and film editing expertise to craft emotionally engaging, high-retention narrative content for an AI companionship platform.
• Collaborate with AI Content Creators, the tech team, other Short Film Directors, and executive leadership to align creative vision with technical capabilities.
• Learn and master EverAI’s proprietary AI content creation stack — prior experience with AI tools like Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance is preferred but not required.
• Maintain strict adherence to EverGuard, EverAI’s proprietary AI moderation system, ensuring all content is safe, ethical, and human-first.
• Deliver content on aggressive timelines with obsessive attention to speed, performance, and iterative improvement.
• Operate as a self-driven doer with full ownership of creative outcomes, balancing planning, execution, and strategic feedback.
• Communicate clearly and collaboratively in fluent English with remote team members across time zones.
• Embrace a humble, feedback-oriented mindset and remain open to learning new AI-driven workflows and creative techniques.
• Produce content specifically optimized for vertical video platforms and AI-driven audience engagement patterns.
• Contribute to the creation of world-first AI companionship experiences that redefine human-AI relationships at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years directing or showrunning short-form narrative video
• Strong scripting instincts with proven ability to craft hooks, cliffhangers, and minute-to-minute escalation
• Experience with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, or Seedance
• Experience with vertical drama platforms
• Fluent in English with strong communication and collaborative skills
• Goal-oriented mindset with ownership, commitment, and a doer attitude
