Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• • Senior Analytics Engineer at Playbook, Inc., a leading creator platform for fitness, health, and wellness, where you will be the first dedicated data hire responsible for designing and building the company's data warehouse from scratch to enable data-driven decisions across the business.
• • Day to day, you will design and build the BigQuery data warehouse using Dataform or dbt, manage and extend the Hevo ingestion layer across multiple sources, establish CI/CD and data quality practices, partner with the Growth team to define and codify business metrics, build creator-facing analytics features, support product and engineering on data-heavy initiatives, own cross-functional data requests, maintain the BI layer, and set the strategic direction for Playbook’s data platform.
• • You will join a fast-growing, remote-first, product-driven team that values ownership, direct communication, and a growth mindset, operating in the fitness tech space with a mission to help fitness creators build sustainable businesses while improving user health outcomes.
• • In this role, you will gain end-to-end ownership of a data platform, shape the foundation of Playbook’s data culture, deepen expertise in ELT pipelines and dimensional modeling, influence product and growth strategy through trusted data, and develop leadership in defining how data is built, trusted, and used at scale.
