- • As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be instrumental in elevating Outreach's Analytics and Operational programs. Your primary responsibility will be the creation, meticulous documentation, and ongoing curation of certified data sources and robust data models. This role demands a commitment to scalable coding practices, the ability to write highly efficient SQL queries, and a dedication to comprehensive documentation, ensuring that future stakeholders can easily understand and leverage your work.
- • You will operate at the heart of the data transformation process, embodying the 'T' in ELT (Extract-Load-Transform). Your expertise will be crucial in transforming raw data pipelines, managed by our Data Engineering team, into refined, user-friendly models. These models will be adopted by our Analytics team and self-service Data Champions, enabling them to independently answer critical business questions and drive strategic initiatives.
- • The Analytics Engineering team at Outreach is fundamentally dedicated to empowering every individual within the company through the provision of scalable, trustworthy, and accessible data sets. We are the custodians of core business metrics, ensuring alignment and consistency across the organization. Simultaneously, we foster an environment where other teams can freely experiment with novel operational metrics to effectively track business performance and identify new opportunities.
- • As a key member of the Business Systems team, you will collaborate extensively across various departments, driving education and enablement initiatives for all employees. Your work will directly contribute to making data at Outreach.io a more trusted, governed, and powerful asset, unlocking new levels of insight and operational efficiency for everyone.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how data is perceived and utilized across a rapidly growing and innovative company. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the foundational data structures that underpin critical business intelligence, reporting, and analytics functions. This includes developing and optimizing data models that support key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic objectives.
- • You will work closely with stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions. This collaborative approach ensures that the data models you build are relevant, accurate, and directly address the business challenges and opportunities faced by these teams.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies and best practices, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security. Your efforts will help establish a single source of truth for key business metrics, reducing ambiguity and fostering confidence in data-driven insights.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role, with a strong focus on data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and SQL development.
- • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- • Experience with data modeling tools and techniques, including dimensional modeling and data vault.
- • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
- • Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality best practices.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
