• • As an Analytics Engineer at Goodstack, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of funds from our corporate customers to the charities they support. This is a hands-on, end-to-end responsibility that requires meticulous attention to detail and a process-driven approach.
• • Your primary objective will be to execute the donation payout process flawlessly, diligently monitor service level agreements (SLAs), and serve as the primary point of escalation for any complex challenges that may arise within this critical operational stream.
• • This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in managing complex data environments, particularly within DBT and Snowflake, who thrive on solving intricate data problems and are passionate about contributing to a company with a profound societal impact.
• • Your core responsibilities will include:
• • Modeling our data in a sustainable, robust, and highly reliable manner, ensuring the integrity and scalability of our data infrastructure.
• • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive suite of tests and validation checks to guarantee the accuracy and trustworthiness of our data assets.
• • Shaping and optimizing our Metabase setup to meet the evolving needs of the business, including requirements for external-facing client dashboards and reporting.
• • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the business to develop essential data models, compelling visualizations, and actionable insights that directly drive business value and strategic decision-making.
• • Within your first 3 months, success in this role will be measured by:
• • Achieving an in-depth understanding of our existing data models, including their inherent complexities and interdependencies.
• • Demonstrating a clear ability to comfortably add new DBT models and effectively resolve any issues that emerge during development or production.
• • Producing valuable insights and user-friendly dashboards that significantly support data-driven decision-making across all departments.
