This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and implementing highly scalable Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting architectures that form the backbone of our data-driven decision-making processes. You will define robust data models, including star and snowflake schemas, meticulously crafted to support both operational efficiency and in-depth customer analytics. A key responsibility will be architecting and optimizing complex data pipelines, seamlessly integrating diverse enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, SFTP, and various SQL databases. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing advanced incremental data loading strategies, employing techniques like watermark logic and automation to ensure data freshness and efficiency.
• • **Drive Data Engineering Excellence and Integration:** You will be at the forefront of our data engineering efforts, developing and optimizing robust ETL/ELT pipelines, preferably utilizing Azure Data Factory or equivalent cloud-based tools. This involves consolidating disparate enterprise data sources into centralized, unified reporting layers, breaking down data silos and creating a single source of truth. A critical aspect of this role is ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, implementing rigorous validation and reconciliation processes, and continuously optimizing for performance. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving query performance and enhancing reporting efficiency across all our analytical systems, making data more accessible and reliable for business users.
• • **Elevate Advanced BI and Visualization Capabilities:** This role demands a deep dive into advanced BI and visualization techniques. You will be responsible for designing and developing executive-level dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights into key business metrics. Furthermore, you will create sophisticated paginated reports designed for automated and scheduled delivery to our Managed Services clients, enhancing their understanding of our services and performance. Building scalable, reusable Power BI semantic models will be a core function, ensuring consistency and maintainability. You will leverage advanced DAX and Power Query (M language) to implement complex business calculations and logic, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with our BI tools.
• • **Lead BI Initiatives and Foster Business Partnerships:** Beyond technical execution, you will assume a leadership role in managing end-to-end BI initiatives. This includes leading and mentoring a team of BI Analysts, ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of reporting solutions.
