📋 Description
- • As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Brigit, you will own the analytics layer end-to-end, ensuring trustworthy and consistent data flows that power product, pricing, and promotion decisions across the company.
- • You will maintain and evolve dbt models in Snowflake, manage production pipelines targeting 7AM ET data freshness, define and enforce standardized metrics, and lead data quality initiatives using tools like Metaplane.
- • Brigit is a holistic financial health company recognized as a top workplace by Built In, Fast Company, Business Insider, and Forbes, dedicated to helping Americans build financial resilience through transparent and fair financial products.
- • In this role, you will drive documentation culture, mentor data team members, lead model deprecation efforts, support compliance audits, and grow your impact as a technical leader in a high-visibility, high-ownership IC position.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a closely related role
- • Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals with opinions about mart layer architecture
- • Experience with Snowflake (or comparable cloud warehouse) in a production context
- • Comfort owning orchestration tooling (Airflow, dbt Cloud, or equivalent)
- • A track record of building durable documentation that actually gets used
- • Strong communication skills across both technical and business audiences
