- • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making across global business units.
- • Build and optimize complex data models using DAX and M language to ensure accurate, scalable, and performant analytics solutions.
- • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate business needs into technical data visualizations.
- • Source, clean, and transform data from multiple enterprise systems including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based platforms into unified data models.
- • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all Power BI reports by implementing validation rules, lineage tracking, and documentation standards.
- • Optimize report performance by refining query structures, managing data refresh schedules, and leveraging DirectQuery and Import modes appropriately.
- • Lead the adoption of best practices in Power BI governance, including role-based security, workspace management, and report distribution protocols.
- • Provide training and support to end-users on report interpretation, dashboard navigation, and self-service analytics capabilities.
- • Work closely with data engineers and analysts to align data pipelines with reporting requirements and ensure seamless integration of upstream data sources.
- • Document all data models, report logic, and business rules to enable knowledge transfer and long-term maintainability.
- • Participate in cross-functional projects to embed analytics into operational workflows and drive measurable business outcomes.
- • Stay current with Power BI updates, new features, and industry trends to continuously improve reporting capabilities and user experience.
- • Deliver high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines while maintaining alignment with organizational data governance policies.
- • Communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders through visual storytelling and concise executive summaries.
- • Support audit readiness by ensuring all reports comply with internal controls and data privacy standards.
- • Maintain a proactive approach to identifying data quality issues and proposing corrective actions to improve reporting accuracy.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the analytics function by recommending process enhancements and automation opportunities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Power BI Analytics Engineer or similar role with advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Service
- • Strong skills in DAX and M language for data modeling and transformation
- • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL)
- • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical analytics solutions
- • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global or multinational environment
- • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance principles in enterprise analytics
