  • This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with various Data teams, including Data Engineering, Product teams, and Data Science teams, acting as a central point of contact for all data development needs.
  • You will be the go-to expert for internal analytics, providing critical insights and guidance to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Your responsibilities will extend to advising and assisting Product and Data Science teams in the development of sophisticated data products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical best practices.
  • This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within Brazil, offering flexibility and work-life balance.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive tangible business value.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the data team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and BI solutions, ensuring clarity and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data for reporting and analysis.
  • Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools to visualize key metrics and trends for business stakeholders.
  • Partner with Data Scientists to provide clean, well-structured data for machine learning models and advanced analytics.
  • Champion data literacy across the organization, empowering teams to leverage data effectively.
  • Contribute to the strategic roadmap for data analytics and business intelligence at Loadsmart.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role, with a strong focus on data modeling, ETL development, and business intelligence.
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and scripting.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., Kimball, Inmon) and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
