- • Lead the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of complex application enhancements and production support solutions aligned with Highmark IT standards and policies.
- • Serve as a technical lead on project teams, assuming roles such as Developer, Technical Lead, or Project Manager based on experience level and project needs.
- • Apply full system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies in accordance with Highmark’s current SDLC standards to deliver high-quality, defect-minimal solutions within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- • Collaborate directly with business analysts, customers, partners, and cross-functional IT teams to translate complex business requirements into innovative, scalable technical solutions.
- • Provide critical on-call and 24x7 technical support for enterprise applications, including release implementations and incident resolution.
- • Demonstrate deep expertise in the Informatica suite, including Informatica IDMC, Informatica SaaS MDM, Informatica CDI & CAI, and Informatica REF360, with proven hands-on implementation experience.
- • Utilize on-premise Informatica tools such as IDQ, MDM, and PowerCenter (PC) to design, develop, and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
- • Lead MDM match rule development and actively engage with data owners and stewards to drive data quality initiatives and governance practices.
- • Ensure all development work complies with Highmark’s data security policies, HIPAA requirements, and organizational privacy standards.
- • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through technical walkthroughs, project status reporting, vendor solution enablement, and detailed documentation.
- • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in application development, Informatica technologies, and enterprise system integration.
- • Work within the Highmark enterprise technology ecosystem, applying knowledge of its application development tools, business processes, and software development lifecycle.
- • Contribute to root cause analysis and issue resolution for complex application defects and performance issues.
- • Perform duties with minimal supervision while maintaining adherence to ethical, legal, and compliance frameworks including the Company’s Code of Business Conduct.
- • May be required to work in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays if located within 50 miles of the Pittsburgh or Camp Hill campuses; otherwise, the role is fully remote.
- • Travel up to 25% as needed for meetings, site visits, or project-related activities.
- • Demonstrate leadership in a healthcare or health insurance industry environment, with an understanding of related regulatory and operational contexts.
