- • Lead the development and execution of influencer and ecosystem marketing strategies across Greater China to drive brand authority and revenue growth for Airwallex’s global payments platform.
- • Source, onboard, and manage a scalable network of B2B-focused KOLs and KOCs on platforms including Xiaohongshu (RED), WeChat Channels, Douyin, Bilibili, and YouTube, using human-centric storytelling to simplify complex financial products like FX transfers and AI billing.
- • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with vertical industry media outlets to amplify brand awareness through co-branded content, online placements, and live industry activations.
- • Build and manage a high-conversion affiliate marketing program by identifying and engaging niche publishers and performance-driven partners to directly generate user acquisition and revenue.
- • Proactively scout and cultivate alliances with upstream and downstream ecosystem partners—including technology providers, trade associations, and industry bodies—to create joint value propositions and expand market reach.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between global marketing teams, local sales leaders, and external partners to align campaigns with regional needs while ensuring brand consistency and compliance.
- • Manage multi-million RMB marketing budgets with operational discipline, coordinating high-frequency campaign cycles and event calendars across digital and offline channels.
- • Leverage data-driven insights—including Video View, CPR, CPE, Viral Post Rate, and lead conversion metrics—to optimize campaign performance and refine ROI frameworks in real time.
- • Utilize marketing automation tools, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and analytics platforms (GA4, BI tools) to track, measure, and report on campaign effectiveness across all partner channels.
- • Translate global brand guidelines into culturally resonant, locally executed marketing activations tailored to the Greater China digital landscape.
- • Navigate complex stakeholder environments across cultural and organizational boundaries, balancing speed, rigor, and brand safety in all partner interactions.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with China’s digital ecosystem, including RedNote, Douyin, WeChat, and Baidu, and apply this expertise to drive trust-based marketing outcomes.
- • Collaborate with product and sales teams to ensure partner campaigns align with product launches, regional business goals, and customer acquisition targets.
- • Continuously identify emerging platforms, creator trends, and partnership opportunities within China’s B2B professional space to stay ahead of market shifts.
- • Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and Airwallex’s brand safety policies while maximizing engagement and conversion potential.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in B2B marketing, influencer marketing, or partner management, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or cross-border payment sectors
- • Deep hands-on experience with China’s digital ecosystem (Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat, Baidu) and proven success in driving business outcomes through influencer-led seeding and trust-building
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million RMB budgets and high-frequency event calendars with operational precision
- • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and data analytics platforms (GA4, BI tools)
- • Native-level Mandarin and professional-level English (written and verbal) with ability to navigate cross-cultural stakeholder relationships
- • Existing relationships with B2B-focused creators, financial industry media, or trade associations in Greater China
