- • As a Senior Associate on the ANZ International New Verticals Strategy & Operations team, you will own growth for a portion of DoorDash’s New Verticals businesses in Australia, driving short-term execution and long-term strategy to expand topline volume and merchant adoption.
- • Day to day, you will strategise from first principles, analyse customer and operational data to inform decisions, experiment with new business strategies through rigorous testing, and build scalable solutions from high-level planning to operational details.
- • You will work cross-functionally with marketing, account managers, analytics, and finance teams, reporting into the Senior Manager, New Verticals - International Growth, in a fast-paced, lean organisation focused on bringing new ways to delight customers beyond restaurants.
- • DoorDash’s New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce by expanding into non-restaurant verticals, offering you the opportunity to drive meaningful impact, own your career growth, and develop expertise in strategy, operations, and data-driven decision-making in a high-growth technology and logistics environment.
- • You will gain hands-on experience in go-to-market planning, promotion strategy development, merchant acquisition, and performance iteration, all while contributing to DoorDash’s mission to empower local economies and expand beyond food delivery into any and all goods.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, strategy and operations, retail, or fast-moving technology companies
- • Proven analytical skills with working knowledge of SQL and ability to conduct deep-dive analyses to root cause
- • Self-starter with a bias for action who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
- • Strong problem-solver capable of synthesising complex issues and translating high-level goals into actionable plans
- • Commitment to continuous improvement, consistently seeking to get 1% better every day and owning outcomes
