- • As a Senior Associate on the Enterprise & Mid-Market Sales Strategy & Operations team in Australia, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of DoorDash's sales initiatives across the region. This pivotal role sits at the dynamic intersection of sales, partner management, operations, product, and analytics, demanding a blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution. You will be a key architect of the operational framework that empowers our sales teams to effectively target, acquire, and retain merchants at scale, driving revenue growth and operational excellence.
- • Your primary focus will be on the critical areas of sales planning, including the meticulous development, implementation, and administration of incentive structures for the Enterprise & Mid-Market Sales organization. This involves close collaboration with Sales Leadership, Sales Strategy, Finance, and Product teams to ensure our compensation plans are competitive, motivating, and aligned with overarching business objectives. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust forecast, quota, and performance models, setting ambitious yet achievable quota targets that directly contribute to our topline goals.
- • A significant part of your role will involve diagnosing sales performance, leveraging data to uncover trends, identify areas for improvement, and deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations to enhance sales productivity and optimize outcomes. You will be the go-to person for understanding what's working and what's not, translating complex data into clear, concise insights that guide strategic decisions.
- • You will also be responsible for running the Go-To-Market (GTM) operating cadence for the Enterprise & Mid-Market segments. This includes managing weekly reporting, monitoring pipeline health, ensuring Salesforce hygiene, and partnering closely with front-line Sales leaders to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your efforts will ensure that our sales engine runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing our teams to focus on selling.
- • Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to scope and launch innovative experiments and GTM initiatives designed to boost Sales productivity. This will involve building comprehensive business cases and financial models to quantify the potential impact and evaluate trade-offs, ensuring that our strategic bets are well-informed and have a high probability of success.
- • You will provide crucial support for territory and coverage planning, as well as resource allocation decisions. Leading cross-functional projects will be essential to identify and remove operational friction points, enabling us to scale the sales engine effectively and sustainably. Your ability to drive complex projects to completion will be vital in optimizing our sales processes and infrastructure.
- • This role demands a proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into tactical plans and operational realities. You will be a trusted advisor to Sales Leadership, providing them with the insights and tools they need to make informed decisions and drive performance. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of DoorDash's merchant partnerships in Australia.
