- • Join Riveron Consulting, a dynamic and growing advisory firm, as a Senior Associate in our Valuation Services practice, based in India. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to U.S. client engagements, providing critical valuation expertise across a spectrum of financial and strategic needs. You will be instrumental in supporting valuations for financial and tax reporting, complex transactions, corporate restructuring, and strategic advisory initiatives, working with a diverse clientele ranging from global multinationals to high-growth private entities.
- • As a Senior Associate, you will operate as a core member of our engagement teams, collaborating closely with Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors. Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of valuation projects, from initial scoping and planning through to execution, rigorous review, and the final delivery of high-quality client reports. You will be actively involved in developing and refining valuation analyses, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to the highest professional standards.
- • This role demands a robust technical foundation in business valuation, intangible asset valuation, and equity valuation. You will apply a range of sophisticated valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis, intangible asset models, option-pricing models, market-based approaches (e.g., comparable company analysis, precedent transactions), and other relevant techniques. Your work will directly inform crucial business decisions for our clients, impacting areas such as:
- • Business combinations (purchase price allocation under ASC 805)
- • Goodwill and other intangible asset impairment testing (ASC 350)
- • Fair value measurements for financial reporting (ASC 820)
- • Tax-related valuations (e.g., transfer pricing, Section 409A)
- • Valuations for bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency proceedings
- • Strategic planning and corporate finance advisory
- • You will be responsible for driving the development of detailed valuation models and analytical outputs in Microsoft Excel, leveraging advanced financial modeling skills. Proficiency with financial databases such as Capital IQ will be essential for gathering necessary market data and performing robust analyses. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality will be paramount as you ensure all deliverables meet Riveron’s stringent quality control standards.
- • Project management is a key component of this role. You will support Project Managers in overseeing engagements from start to finish, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. This includes proactive identification and resolution of engagement issues and risks, with timely escalation to project leadership when necessary. You will also play a role in client relationship management, collaborating with senior leadership on engagement strategy and client communication.
- • Beyond technical execution, you will contribute to fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Embracing Riveron’s core values of Drive, Excellence, Leadership, Teamwork, and Accountability, you will help cultivate a culture that is both client-centric and entrepreneurial. This involves actively participating in engagement staffing, managing workloads across multiple concurrent projects, and providing mentorship and coaching to junior team members.
- • The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to dissect complex financial information and translate it into clear, actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial, enabling you to articulate complex valuation concepts effectively to both internal teams and external clients. A strong client-service orientation, characterized by professionalism, accountability, and a proactive approach, is essential for success.
- • We are looking for adaptable individuals who are comfortable navigating the dynamic environment of a growth-oriented advisory firm. You should be eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and processes. While this role is based in India, a willingness and ability to travel as required for client engagements is necessary.
- • By joining Riveron, you become part of a firm that is dedicated to solving complex finance challenges and fostering growth for both our clients and our people. We offer a supportive and inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives, encourages collaboration, and provides meaningful opportunities for professional development and impactful work.
